Star Formation and Evolution Group

membersThe STAR FORMation and Evolution (STARFORME) Group is an observation-oriented research group in the Radio Astronomy Division of KASI. While stars spend most of their lives as hydrogen-burning main sequence stars, young stellar objects in the formation stage and evolved stars in the post-main-sequence stage display interesting and spectacular phenomena through their interaction with interstellar medium. We study these phenomena using radio telescopes, such as KVN, TRAO, JCMT, ALMA, as well as infrared telescopes.
